Our Purpose... Amazon Focus is a catalytic organization focused on the spiritual and holistic well-being of the Bride of Christ* across the Amazon Region and beyond!

*The term “Bride of Christ” refers to all believers in Christ Jesus – Biblical synonyms include: the Church, the Body of Christ and Children of God.

Our Vision...

Amazon Focus believes that the Ultimate Quest on the planet is to bring glory to God; and the Ultimate Means to accomplish that quest is to strengthen the Bride of Christ, His church in the Amazon region of South America and beyond.

How is God’s glory declared among the nations in the Amazon? In light of the fundamental challenges faced by the people in this region, the vision of Amazon Focus is to:

  • Strengthen the confidence, capacity and leadership of the tribal church that already exists, equipping them to reach the 250+ area tribes where the church doesn’t yet exist
  • Empower tribal leaders to assume responsibility for their own distinct needs and destinies
  • Promote collaboration within God’s family to inspire sustainable progress in the region
  • Partner with the Trans-Amazon Network of Indigenous Christian Leaders and their partners
  • Raise awareness in North America and beyond, regarding the vast remaining area needs
  • Harness the wisdom and insights learned from the Amazon to enhance and inspire the global church
